The 4th Series is officially in the books at 3:48 pm on Monday, November 11 with the bye dog "Joe" and handler Jim Cope taking the flyer.
We started this series on Sunday, November 10 at 2:39 pm with dog #6 being our first running dog. We stopped running dogs at 4:51 pm yesterday with dog #24 being the last dog to run. Today, the second day of this test started with dog #25 at 7:02 am.
A total running time of 10 hours and 10 minutes averaged out to take 7.5 minutes per dog that completed this test. (87 total)
In the 4th Series we had the following happen ...
No Birds/Reruns - 9: #25(2x), 39, 44(2x), 55, 84, 86 and 91
Handles - 4: #12, 16, 32, 75 and 93
Pick Ups - 2: #83 & 97
This will conclude our third day here at the NRC Championship.
We will start Series 5 tomorrow morning with the test dog to the line at 6:30 am and the first running dog #31 at 7:00 am.

Flyer - Nice Flyer
Middle Retired - Lexie went through the pond wide left then went up the slot on the dam that takes the dogs out to the field. She went around the rim of the pond and worked her way down to the bird.
Right Retired - Running wide right, Lexie broke down into a hunt before the holding blind. Continuing to enlarge the hunt deeper, she then worked her way to the bird.

Flyer - Straight to the bird - The dust was still rising where they"sleuced" it on the ground.
Middle Retired - Great line. Sonic went under the arc adn out into the field. He worked back right then dropped down to the bird.
Right Retired - Nice lien out on the left of the blind. He turned down the hill and came into the bird from the back side.

Middle Retired - Max had a good line to the shore. He pulled left and ran up the dam along the trees. Quickly he turned to the right and on his bird.
Right Retired - Max went up the hill in good position. He then went by the holding blind to the right then went back left and worked his way to the bird.

Right Retired - heading back to the right side of the middle gun blind, Floyd went up the bank and got deep into the field and came back and got the bird.

Flyer - Perfect line to a long bird.
Middle Retired - Clooney was heading for the area left of the blind. He went up and out into the field and right of the area behind the fall. He went down the bank and to his bird.
Right Retired - Straight to the area in the front of the blind, Clooney turned left towards bird, he missed and made two more passes right in the area and got it.
FC-AFC Rockliffs Justdoit ex Seaside's Warrior Princess QAA
Flyer - Perfect line to a long bird.
Middle Retired - Clooney was heading for the area left of the blind. He went up and out into the field and right of the area behind the fall. He went down the bank and to his bird.
Right Retired - Straight to the area in the front of the blind, Clooney turned left towards bird, he missed and made two more passes right in the area and got it.

Right Retired - Going wide through the water, Pulp got up the hill and turned left around the holding blind and worked down the hill to the bird.

Middle Retired - Pulp faded wide left in the water. He cam out left of the blind and ran along the rim to come up with the bird.
Right Retired - Going wide through the water, Pulp got up the hill and turned left around the holding blind and worked down the hill to the bird.

Right Retired - Great line through the water and held a nice angle along the hillside and arrived just left of the blind. Making a loop to the right of the blind and then back left to get the bird.
