Left Flyer - Up the side of the hill and under the arc close to the gunners. Cash hunted close then expanded the hunt to the left until he got the bird.

Rooster Flyer - He got behind the mound to the top of the rim. He started to go right towards the right flyer and was handled back. He came back left past the retired and hunted the rooster. He missed and started to leave and was handled back in to the bird.

Right Flyer - Nice line, started to hunt left and moved quickly to the right to get the bird.

Right Retired - Cash got to the back side of the blind and kept going back. He had to be handled back to the bird.

Right Flyer - Very good mark on she was on her mallard.

Right Retired - Up the hill and a right turn in to the area of the fall and back with her hen pheasant.

Left Flyer - Great line to the hen.

Rooster Flyer - Entering the area wide left, Jaida driving the hill landing right and on the rooster.

Day 2 - Series 9 - Test Dog

"Josey" & Missy Bell

6:48 am

Right Flyer - Quick Recovery

Left Retired - Slicing through the pond, Josey grabs her bird.

Middle Flyer - Josey arrives to the fall area and right of the bird. She has a defined hunt in the area to pack up her bird and go home.


***The judges are taking an additional 15 minutes for lighting to improve.***

Series 9 - Test Dogs

Cash & Beate - 2:46 pm

Right Flyer - Good line to the bird.

Left Flyer - A swim and out on the bird.

Middle - To the area of the fall. Cash started a hunt little short. He established a pattern and then located the bird.

Moved to Honor

Jaide & Brent - 2:54 pm

Right Flyer - Good line to the flyer

Left Flyer - Exited the water close to the gunners, she turned and got her bird.

Middle - To the holding blind and turned out to the field to get her bird.

Moved to Honor

Day 2 - Eigth Series - Test Dog

6:50 am

Flyer - Very good flyer

Right Retired - Directly to the bird

Short Retired - Good line to the area...had to be handled to the bird.

Long Retired - Kevin came into the field left of the holding blind and ran deep. Handled to the bird.

8th Series Test Dogs

Jaida & Brent

Flyer - Jaida went for the Hen Duck Flyer first, clean retriever, got it!

Right Retired - She went through 2 or 3 small pieces of water and back out to the left leg of a tall tower. Good Job.

Short Retired - Traversed the cover and the pond to get her bird clean.

Long Retired - Right to the area, with several loops and she got it.

Total Time: 14 minutes



Cash & Bente

To the line at 12:25 pm

Flyer - Nice Line, smacked it!

Middle Retired - Out to the  fall area and quickly found the bird.

Long Retired - Into the first pond, then the second and the third pond where the dog swam down the middle of the channel and ran out to the fall area where he established a hunt and got the bird.

Right Retired - Nice line, stopped short of the last piece for a quick turn and then onto the bird.

Total Time: 13 minutes

7th Test Dogs

Cash & Bente - 6:45 am

A quick whistle through the cover off the line with two more on the dam to get in to the water. Six more whistles to get on the point and off. Followed by six more to get through the water to the next point with four in the water and the dog docks on the far shore. With another six more whistles on land and call in to recover his line and the final four to get to the top of the mound.

Jaida & Brent - 7:04 am

Getting through the point of cover and entered into the water and got to the point. Having two whistles to get off and five to following for the swim to adjust entry for the next point. Jaida took another whistle to get off point two and cross the channel with a whistles get get through the cover to the bird.

6th Series - Test Dogs

Jaida and Brent - 12:18 pm

One whistle at the tree to go through the brown cover. Four more to try to move right. We lost the dog behind the trees. Bird boy came out to assist the dog.

Cash and Bente - 12:23 pm

Three whistles, the dog went in the wrong direction. It was stopped and brought back. He got half way back to the green tree and got two whistles and missed the brown cover. Four more and got the bird. 

Test Dog - Day 2 - 5th Series

Josey - Missy Bell

Came to the line at 6:45 am

Right Flyer - Josey made quick work of her flyer!

Left Middle - Excellent line carried 3/4 the way out then a hard right with a quick correction and Josey was back with her bird.

Right Middle - Good line but she faded at the holding blind to go just on the right side of it. A quick left after the blind and Josey got her bird.

Left Flyer - Good route to the bird. She stayed in the area for an extended hunt but persevered to get her bird.

5th Series - Test Dogs

"Cash" & Bente

Came to the line at 6:45 am.

Right Flyer - Very good recovery of the flyer hen pheasant

Left Middle Retired - An early hunt caused Cash to work the area for a long hunt, but he came back with the hen pheasant.

Right Middle Retired - Initial line brought Cash up through the swale and he had to be handled to move to the right and get into the area to establish a hunt in the area of the fall to where he finally recovered his hen pheasant.

Left Flyer - Good initial line but her worked his way into the outer edge of the swale heading towards the other birds and was handled out. He initiated another work pattern to work his way to the rooster pheasant.

This test took Cash & Bente 9 minutes and 49 seconds

"Jaida" and Brent

Came to the line at 6:54 am

Right Flyer - Just missing the bird, Jaida came in to establish a hunt pattern to get her bird.

Right Middle Retired - Good line that carried her up the swale, over the moguls and to the area where she dug out the bird with a modest hunt.

Left Middle Retired - Going right back into the swale, Jaida gets to the area and made a couple of passes left and came back into the area for the bird.

Left Flyer - Good momentum on the line that carried her through the moguls and out to the area. A brief look and she dug out her bird.

This test took Jaida and Brent 9 minutes and 18 seconds.

Test Dog - Series 4 - Water Triple with an Honor

"Josey" and Missy Bell came to the line at 6:45 am.

Flyer - Perfect Mark

Middle Retired - Nice line, Josey went up and over to the top of the rum. Going under the arc with a quick turn back down to the ledge of the bank and to the bird.

Right Retired - Cut across the pond on a great angle up and across the hill. She made a loop left and down to the bird.

**We are going to wait for a bit so we have better light for the competing dogs!**

Series 4 - Water Triple - Test Dogs

Jaida & Brent - 2:22 pm

Flyer - Straight to the bird.

Right Retired - Into the fall area staying tight until she got her bird.

Middle Retired - Into the pond and crossed the middle. Came out left of the gunners and went around the back going down to her bird.

Took 7 minutes 40 seconds to complete this test



Cash & Bente - 2:33  pm

Flyer - Straight to the bird

Middle Retired - Directly to the bird

Right Retired - Out to the mound with a loop behind the guns then back out to the bird.

Took 5 minutes 1 second to complete this test

Day 2 - Series 2 & 3 - Land/Water Blind - Test Dog

Missy Bell and her Lab Female, "Josey," came to the line at 6:43 am.

Land Blind - The first whistle came a quarter of the way down the hill with a second at the gravel road where she traveled to the cover. One more to get pass the guns and the final whistle at the blind. Very Nice!

Water Blind - Initial line went a third of the way down. Josey took her first whistle to get into the water and one more to adjust her line. The third blow came to get her in the cattails and one more to get out. She slide past the cover on the right taking a few whistles on the end to adjust her depth.

Series Two & Three - Test Dogs

Cash came to the line at 2:20 pm.

Land - Cash took three whistles to get the end.

Water - Taking three whistles to the water and one to get to the cattails and one more to get out of the water. A final check down whistle.

Jaida came to the line at 2:25 pm.

Land - Jaida took a whistle before the road and one before cutting the corner that carried her to the bird.

Water - Getting two whistles before the road and one to get into the water and one to get out. She took a final blow to get to the blind.
