Fun Fact for Today!

Did you know that there are a total of 12 yellow Labradors entered in the 2019 National Open?

7 males and 5 females. WOW!

WELCOME

... to the Official Blog of the 2019 National Open, November 9-16 held this year in Corning, CA. This year's Blog is brought to you by the Retriever News and our Official Sponsors Purina and Avery. Also Sponsored by Ainley Kennels, Mountaintop Custom Kennels, and MARC. We hope you enjoy these multi-daily updates and please come back often!

We encourage visitors of this blog to participate in the National Open discussion located in the comments section of each post. These areas are a great outlet for remote communication and commentary for those unable to attend this year's NRC. Also, please keep an eye out for trivia, surveys and other interactive activities!

The Retriever News team on the grounds will consist of Tina Styan, Gwen Jones, Becky Eckett and Alice Woodyard. We would also like to welcome Rich Pingatore, as the diagram maker and as a Contributing Sponsor to the NRC blog this year.

Please don't hesitate to share any items of interest or photos that you think the retriever community might be interested in. Send submissions to Tina Styan at: tstyan@theretrievernews.com
