It's A Wrap - 6th Series - Game Over

This is it for the day. The 6th Series and the 5th day of the 2019 NRC Championship is in the books at 3:47 pm.

Today we started at 7:03 to finish the 5th series that was completed at 11:39 am. The judges called back 58 dogs to the 6th series. With the line for the 6th series moving only about 20 yards from the 5th series we made quick work to kick off the 6th series at 12:38 pm. We had 58 dogs complete this series in 3 hours 9 minutes which is approximately 3 1/4 minutes per dog.

The judges are going to another test sight and will be doing the callbacks after that. We will post the callbacks as soon as we get them from the judges.

The next series will be in Anderson, CA. Exit 664 at Gas Point Road. The adjacent property is 4506 Panorama Point Road.

Test Dogs at 6:30 am. The first running dog will announced with callbacks.

Buddy's initial line went wide left of the mud and the spot. One right cast to get Buddy past the tree and clear the clumps which continued up the hill. Three whistles and a verbal back with an additional blow, Buddy navigated the hill to the bird.

65. FC CARL WITH A K, "Karl" LM, Rick Stawski

Karl & Rick

Karl's initial line went left of the mud and right of the brown spot. He took five whistles to get him left of the green tree and he missed it. Two more left casts get through the brown clumps and three and a tweet tweet to navigate the hill and get his bird.

61. FC TANKS FOR THE MEMORIES II, "Hope" LF, Greg Bartlett

Hope had a good initial line. She got her first whistle before the tree then one more by the brown cover to pass just left of of it. Greg blew the whistle five more time to adjust the line and to get her to move left up the hill to the bird.

60. FC TIGER MTN'S BETTIN' ON BLACK, "Gamble" LM, Mike Taylor

Gamble's initial line was right, but with a quick whistle or two he got by the tree. One more pushed him through the brown cover, with four more to make his way up the hill to end with a very controlled blind.

58. FC TRULUCK'S GOIN' JESSIE, "Jessie" LF, Danny Farmer

Jessie & Danny

Jessie's initial line went left of the mud and right of the brown spot. Jessie got her first whistle to move left so she could get left of the green tree. One more left cast from Danny to get her to skim the brown clumps. A final blow of the whistle to move Jessie to the right and navigate the hill took her all the way to the end.

56. FC CHICAGO BLUES STAR, "Scrapper" LM, Ray Voigt

Scrapper & Ray

Scrapper's initial line went wide left of the mud and left of the brown spot and continued wide left to the green tree. Taking a whistle to move left to get through the brown clumps, Ray had to give multiple whistles to navigate Scrapper up the hill towards the end.

55. FC AFC DOCTOR CABERNET JUST IN CASE, "Doc" LM, Al Arthur

Doc's initial line was slightly to the right. He had three whistles to adjust to the dark cover with another three to follow to try to move him left up the hill. Doc went far right at the end and worked over to the bird.

Billie had a good initial line with getting her first whistle to adjust her line that carried her to the cover. One more to get through the dark grass and another two to adjust her line to the bird.

53. FC LOUISIANA BLACK MAGIC SPELL, "Hex" LM, Tim Milligan

Hex & Tim

Hex's initial line took him wide left of the mud and left the brown spot. He got one left cast to get left of the green tree that carried him through the brown clumps. Getting his final four whistles from Tim to navigate the hill, Hex got to the bird.

52. FC HORSETOOTH'S PENALTY SHOT, "Deke" LM, Kenny Trott

Deke & Kenny

Deke's initial line went left of the mud and right of the brown spot. Getting his first whistle to get left of the green tree, this carried Deke through the brown clumps. Kenny blew the whistle three more times to help Deke navigate the hill to where he arrived at his bird.

50. FC AFC KERRYBURKE'S MARSH MADNESS MH, "Maddie" LF, Misty Melo

Maddie had a good initial line into the field. She went wide right and took a whistle to get out to the dark grass. Then with two more to attempt the to get through the dark grass. She had four more whistles from Misty to adjust her line to drive the hill.

49. FC ELLSD'S GOING ON A TRIP GRAB UR CAMO, "Camo" LM, Jim Beck

Camo had a good initial line. He took his first two whistles to get to the tree, then another two get through the brown cover. Jim had two cast to pull the dog back to the right and two blows at the end.

47. NFC AFC I'M UR SEARCH ENGINE, "Google" LM, Alan Pleasant

Google & Alan

Google's initial line went left of the mud and right of the spot. His first left cast came to get him to go left of the green tree. This carried him through the clumps. Taking five whistles to navigate the hill, Google had a loose ending to his bird.

44. FC ROAD TRIPP, "Tripp" LM, Mark Medford

Tripp & Mark

Tripp's initial line went left of the mud and right of the brown spot. He tool three left casts to get left of the green tree. This carried him through the clumps. Taking five whistles from Mark to navigate the hill to the bird, Tripp had one check down at the bird.

43. FC AFC HYFLYERS LIFE IN THE FAST LINE QAA, "Crash" LM, Wayne Curtis

Crash's initial line went wide left. He had to get one whistle to the tree then two more to get through the tall grass. Getting wide left her took a cast to move over with three more to climb the hill and maintain position.

Smokie had an excellent initial line that carried him to the brown grass. Getting his first whistle at he had another four from Dave to move him up the hill and on to his bird.

40. FC AFC BLUEWATER'S TIGHT LINES, "Catch" LM, Tim Mueller

Catch & Tim

Catch's initial line took him left of the mud and right of the spot. He took two left whistles to get past the tree, then two right casts to get to the clumps. Having five blows from Tim, Catch navigated the hill for a loose ending.

39. FC AFC KIRKWOOD'S ACE OF A HIGHER GRADE, "Deacon" LM, Casey Adams

Deacon & Casey

Deacon's initial line went left of the mud and right of the brown spot. He took one left cast and one right to get left of the green tree. Taking another left cast to get through the brown cover and one left and right cast to navigate the hill with a final check down at the bird.

37. FC WATERMARK'S MYSTERY, "Mystic" LF, Alan Pleasant

Mystic & Alan - 2:48 pm

Mystic initial line took her to the right. She took two whistles to adjust to go through the cover. Mystic moved left after the cover and took a number of whistles to recover and go in for her bird.
