***Gun Change*** Day 2 - 8th Series

Our gun change came at 10:21 am, after dog # 56 completed his test.

We started our day at 7:14 am with dog #34. He have completed 3 hours 7 minutes and 12 dogs. Our test is currently  averaging 15.5 minutes per dog.

For day two of the 8th Series, it is as follows...

Handle - 3
Double Handle - 2
Pick Up - 2

This means we have only had 5 dogs compete this test today without a handle or pick up!

The sun is out and our current temperature is at 3 mph which is forecast to increase mid afternoon to 6 mph.

We will be back with dog #60 after this gun change.

Conditions - 8th Series - Day 2

Our day is starting out cloudy and very hazy. In the picture below, we should be seeing beautiful mountains but instead we kind of see shapes.

The temperature  is at 54 degrees and the high is expected to be in the low 70's.

5th Series - Conditions

The wind has picked up giving the Left Flyer (Rooster Gunners) a challenge and the hen flyers (Right Flyer) are turning right when they are being thrown! The wind is coming in from the north. That is direction the roosters are being thrown and a cross wind for the hens.

5th Series - Conditions Update

We have had a shift in the wind direction. It is now coming in from the north and is blowing left to right across the test site. It appears the dogs are using this to their advantage.

Our current temperature is at 69 degrees and the wind is coming in at 4 mph.

If we notice any more changes through out the day we will let you know!

1st Series - Conditions Update

Our midday weather report is looking great! Our temperatures are a sunny78 degrees with a north wind 6 mph. We are still expected to get up in the 80's by 2:00 pm. We are at 17% humidity with 0% chance of rain with good air quality.

The sun set will be at 4:57 pm tonight which gives us time to finish this series (if things continue to run as smoothly as it has been) and start the second one!
