49. FC ELLSD'S GOING ON A TRIP GRAB UR CAMO, "Camo" LM, Jim Beck

Right Flyer - Came hunted deep and wide left for a bit but then he came back to the fall and got his bird.

Right Middle - Nice line out to the blind. Camo passed under the arc of the throw to the backside of the mound with the bird. He quickly came back over the mound to the bird.

Left Flyer - He went out to the blind and passed it on the right. He made a loop both right and left of the blind, and started to hunt deep. Camo extended his gun wide left to get his bird.

Left Middle - Came got up close to the blind on a good line and worked out his bird.

Update - Running Out of Order

As posted in the Gun Change post, #47 was stated to be starting. However, we are expecting due to an earlier no bird issue, caused a spacing issue for handler Alan Pleasant. Google is the holding blind set to run after dog #50.

Pick Up - 48. FC MCS HENRY, "Henry" LM, Danny Farmer

Right Flyer - Henry had a nice flyer going right to it.

Left Middle - Going right up the line to the bird.

Right Middle - Henry arrived to the area of the mark from the right side of the holding blind. He made three loops deep and right then worked his way to the bird.

Left Middle - Henry had an extended hunt deep and right of the gunners, the handler then asked for the dog to get assistance which is a pick up.

***Gun Change*** 5th Series

Our first gun change of the day was at 9:44 am. Our day started with dog #31 Dexter at 7:09 am with Dog #46 Baby completing their test it was time for the gun change.

We have had 14 dogs complete this test in 2 hours 35 minutes. It is taking approximately 11 minutes per dog.

This Land Quad is proving to be challenging with 5 handles and 1 no bird/rerun already.

Our next running dog will be the defending champion #47 Google with handler Alan Pleasant.

Right Flyer - Perfect line up the hill and to her bird.

Right Middle - Baby went up the middle of the field between the two guns. She got deep and out into the cover, then she came back in for the right middle retired bird.

Left Flyer - She drove out to the holding blind, then came in on the left side. She established a hunt there, then came out heading away from the bird and had to be handled back in to get her bird.

Left Middle - She went back up the middle of the field and into the cover. She worked her way out and to the bird.

Handle - 45. FC FIREMARK ORANGE CRUSH, "Crush" GM, Rob Erhardt

Right Flyer - Got the bird.

Left Middle - Crush went along a line to the right side of the swale, but he bends his line to initiate a hunt for the left middle. A sizable hunt to include left of the mark and deep of the mark before he came in to his bird.

Left Flyer - He got past the holding blind and began a hunt pattern. After multiple passes and an expanded hunt to include the fall, Crush found the bird.

Right Middle - The initial line carried Crush wide right of the mark and deep. He had to be handled in and to the bird.

Rerun - 37. FC WATERMARK'S MYSTERY, "Mystic" LF, Alan Pleasant

Right Flyer - Mystic came in under the arc, she quickly moved to the right and got her bird.

Left Middle - She went straight up the middle and in between the two marks. Mystic got a little deep and then she turned left to quickly work her way back and left to get her bird.

Right Middle - On a line towards the holding, Mystic came in on the right side for one loop, she then went around the back going out to the fall area and to her mark.

Left Flyer - She went out to the fall area and got deep. She hunted deep left and right and moved out farther to the left. Mystic moved in to find her bird.

44. FC ROAD TRIPP, "Tripp" LM, Mark Medford

Right Flyer - Right to the bird!

Left Middle - Tripp bent into a line that took him to the cover of the holding the bird. With a quick check, he located his bird.

Left Flyer - He worked deep and right of the area and put on a significant hunt that finally tapers into the bird.

Right Middle - Tripp came up the back side of the gunners then he veered to the right of the holding blind. Tripp bend into the area of the fall and came out with his bird.

43. FC AFC HYFLYERS LIFE IN THE FAST LINE QAA, "Crash" LM, Wayne Curtis

Right Flyer - Crash moved away from the bird but moved quickly back to heel. Nice Mark!

Left Middle - Nice line, he got into the cover and got the bird.

Right Middle - He took the right side out but turned and cut the outside of the mark. He went deep and hunted left to right staying deep of the bird, but then he worked his way back into the fall area then onto his bird.

Left Flyer - Great line towards the bird. Crash went back to the right of the blind then quickly went out to the bird.

41. FC AFC 3R'S MR T SMOKEN JOE, "Smokie" LM, Dave Rorem

Right Flyer - Smokie went right to the bird.


Left Flyer - He hunted deep and right for a brief moment and worked his way back in to the bird.

Left Middle - He went up the slot for a little look left and went over to the area to the right and dug up his bird.

Right Middle - He went past the holding blind to the left and went right to the area of the fall. A quick look and he had his bird.

Catch came to the line at 8:38 am.

Right Flyer - Straight to the fall area and he had his bird.

Left Middle - Catch went straight to the cover and then to his bird.

Right Middle - His initial line took him out behind the hen flyer guns. Getting right of the holding blind, he went around the back side of it, took one small turn then out to get his bird.

Left Flyer - An excellent line to the blind and went behind it and got deep to the right. He moved to the left and worked out his bird.

Right Flyer - Direct line to the bird.

Left Middle - Deacon went out to the area and located the bird within a couple of passes of the area.

Left Flyer - He worked the area of the fall and established a couple of loops and then does a little quartering to come back with his rooster in the good time.

Right Middle - Deacon went up to the going in right of the holding blind. He quickly isolates the area and get his bird.

Handle - 38. FC TRUMARC'S MAYBELLENE, "Mabel" LF, Danny Farmer

Right Flyer - Mabel took two loops left and then moved to the right to get her bird.

Left Middle - She got out to the right middle blind, then turned left and came back for this bird.

Right Middle - Going out right of the blind, she got deep left and right, but worked the area then back to the blind. She then went back out right of the bird to come back to the fall area and get the bird.

Left Flyer - Maddie went out wide right of the blind and got deep away from the bird to the far trees. She worked the area and ended up having to be handled back to the bird.

No Bird - 37. FC WATERMARK'S MYSTERY, "Mystic" LF, Alan Pleasant

Mystic had a no bird. She will be placed back six spots and run in the seventh spot back.

***Announcement on Gun Changes***

The gun changes have been modified. Rather than by the number of the dogs, we will be having the gun changes near the following times...

2:30 pm

The gunners will change after the working dog has completed the test nearest to these times.

36. OAKRIDGERTVR MADE MY DAY, "Maddie" LF, Ray Voigt

Right Flyer - Maddie scoops it up.

Left Middle - Maddie adjusted her line a bit as she approached the area. When she got to the area she hunted left and behind the area, however, she worked her way back into the bird.

Right Middle - She headed to the area and moved right to run behind the holding blind. She went up the hill a bit and corrected herself left to the area of the fall and she got her bird.

Left Flyer - Getting out to the area, Maddie identifies the gunner area. She moved through the trajectory path and works out her bird after making a couple of expanding loops.

Left Middle - Going out to the fall area, Skyy had a loop in front of the blind, then one behind it. He then came in to get his bird.

Right Middle - He went out to the right side of the line, getting out under the arc and into the cover deep. He had a tight hunt and got his bird.

Left Flyer - Skyy went out to the blind and under the arc. He worked it out from there going left to right until he got the bird.

34. FC LITTLE CREEK'S AUGUST MOONSHINE, "Gus" LM, Dave Smith

Right Flyer - Gus went right into the cover to quickly pick up his hen flyer

Left Middle - He entered the area of the fall and makes a couple of passes keeping to the left then went over to the area of the fall to locate his bird.

Right Middle - Gus came in from behind the holding blind. He established a thorough hunt pattern staying committed to the area and finally finds his bird.

Left Flyer - He arrived in the area going just past the left side of the blind. Gus put up a hunt of the area and dug out his rooster.
